If you’re setting up heating for a nightclub patio or a fancy changing area, forget about trying to heat the air. It’s a losing battle. Instead, you want to heat the people. That’s where shortwave infrared (IR) comes in. Most heaters just try to warm up the wind, which—let’s be honest—is a total waste of power. Shortwave IR is different. It sends heat straight to the surface it hits. It’s why you can step into a freezing dressing room and feel warm the second you’re under the lamp. The secret to the heat We use high-density quartz elements to get the wavelength just right. This means the heat cuts right through a breeze without losing its punch. In an open-air spot, it’s pretty much the only way to keep a “warm zone” that actually stays warm. We push for high wattage per inch so the heat actually reaches your guests before the wind can steal it away. Built for the chaos Nightclubs are tough on gear. You’ve got humidity, rain, and the occasional spilled drink. To handle that, we tuck everything into IP-rated housings. Basically, we seal it tight so moisture can’t touch the electrical terminals. A heads-up on the wiring Here is the catch: these high-output heaters are thirsty for power. They pull a lot of current.
