The result is repeatable CD control and far fewer excursions that trace back to thermal drift.&#xA;Here’s the part that bites if you don’t plan for it: installation has to match bake station geometry, tool interface, and exhaust routing. Retrofit kits are available, but alignment tolerances are tight—otherwise you’ll pay in uniformity.&#xA;The unit performs best when chamber reflectivity and wafer emissivity stay stable. Swap coatings or change carriers and the thermal profile shifts, which means a quick recalibration. Kick off qualification with a multi-point thermal map to set the baseline.
