Here is how we keep them running.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;h2 id=&#34;the-battle-against-moisture&#34;&gt;The battle against moisture&lt;/h2&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;When a tiny drop of water hits a scorching hot infrared emitter, it causes what we call thermal shock. It&amp;rsquo;s a violent reaction that creates micro-cracks in the quartz glass or just snaps the filament. Not great.&#xA;To stop that, we used specific shapes to fight off fogging and sealed the housing tight. It keeps the moisture away from the &amp;ldquo;danger zone.&amp;rdquo; By managing the dew point around the emitter, we stop that cloudy fog from forming, which means the heat actually reaches the floor instead of getting trapped.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
